Thank you for choosing me as your massage therapist.  In order to provide the best service possible to my clients, I have implemented the following policies and guidelines:

Cancellation & No-Show Policy

I require a 6-hour advance notice when cancelling an appointment.  Clients who are unable to give me 6 hours advance notice will be charged a $25 cancellation fee.  This amount must be paid prior to the next scheduled appointment.  Anyone who either forgets or consciously chooses to forgo their appointment for whatever reason without advance notice will be considered a “no-show”.  They will be charged the full amount for their missed appointment which must be paid before rescheduling any future appointments.  More than one no show and all future appointments must be prepaid. 

Late Arrival Policy

To ensure a smooth experience for all clients, please notify me promptly if you're running late. Late arrivals may result in shortened sessions to accommodate follow-on appointments.  Regardless of the length of the treatment given, you will be responsible for the full session.  Out of respect and consideration to myself and other clients, please plan to be on time.  

Massage Termination

Only professional massage and bodywork services for relaxation or therapeutic purposes are offered at this massage practice.  Massage services will be terminated immediately, and local law enforcement will be notified in the event of inappropriate conduct of any kind.  This includes harassment, threatening speech or behavior, sexual advances or requests, disrespectful actions or language (Texas Penal Code §43.021). A client who arrives under the influence of drugs or alcohol will be asked to leave. 

Draping Policy

Clients will be appropriately draped with a sheet during their massage at all times.  Only the areas of the body that are being treated will be exposed.  The breast and genital areas will always remain draped and are never massaged.    

Guidelines & Expectations

• All clients will be treated with dignity and respect.  Personal and professional boundaries will be respected at all times.
• Please provide an accurate health history and inform me of any updates or changes to your health/medical condition.  
• Please cancel your appointment if you are experiencing any signs and symptoms of an active systemic or localized infection (e.g. fever, sore throat, swelling, etc.) or if you have a contagious condition including common cold, influenza, stomach flu, coronavirus, contagious skin condition, etc..  You may reschedule your session once the contagious condition has resolved without penalty. (Please see the above cancellation policy concerning six hours advance notice.) 
• I only provide therapeutic massage and modalities that are within the scope of practice for my licensed profession.  Clients with acute injuries or conditions that are outside of my scope of practice for massage should consult with their doctor. 
• Clients are expected to be clean and have showered prior to receiving a massage. 
• Please avoid eating a heavy meal two hours prior to receiving a massage.
